These terms cover Ichor, the synthesizer made by monte77 ("we"), and your use of it. By installing Ichor or buying a license you agree to them.
Buying Ichor
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's own buyer terms apply to the purchase itself.
Your license
- A license lets you install and use Ichor version 1.x on up to three computers that you own or use, for as long as you like. It does not expire.
- The license is for one person. Please do not share your key or post it publicly; a shared key may be deactivated.
- To move Ichor to another computer, click Deactivate in Ichor on the old one first. A license can be deactivated three times in any 30 days; if you need more, write to us and we will help.
- You may not resell, rent or transfer a license without our agreement, or remove, bypass or alter Ichor's license check.
- Updates within version 1 are included. A future major version may be sold separately.
Your music
What you make with Ichor is yours, including music that uses its factory presets, with no royalties and no credit required. What you may not do is sell or share Ichor's presets, wavetables or sounds as presets or sample packs on their own.
The free trial
The trial runs for 7 days from the first time Ichor opens on a computer, with every feature, once per computer. Starting it needs an internet connection. When it ends, Ichor still loads in your projects and keeps their settings, but makes no sound until a license key is entered.
Activation and checks
Activating a key needs an internet connection. A licensed Ichor checks in with our license server from time to time when you are online; it never stops working because you are offline. If a purchase is refunded or the payment is disputed, its key is deactivated.
Refunds
You can get a refund within 14 days of buying. See the refund policy.
No warranty
We test Ichor carefully, but it is provided as it is, without a promise that it works on every computer or in every host: please try the free trial before you buy. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost projects or data, and our total liability is limited to the price you paid. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.
