Ichor is in its final round of testing. The installer and the free 7-day trial open here on release day.

The trial has every engine, effect and preset. It starts the first time you open Ichor, needs the internet once to begin, and asks for no card.

System requirements

• Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
• A processor with AVX2: Intel Core 4th generation (2013) or newer, or AMD Ryzen
• A host that loads VST3 instruments: FL Studio, Ableton Live, Reaper, Cubase, Studio One, Bitwig and others
• About 100 MB of disk space
• An internet connection once, to start the trial or activate a key

Installing

The installer puts Ichor.vst3 into C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3, where hosts look for plugins. Rescan plugins in your host and Ichor appears among the instruments. The factory presets install themselves the first time Ichor opens.

Windows may show "Windows protected your PC" before the installer runs, because Ichor is new and its installer is not yet known to Windows SmartScreen. Click More info, then Run anyway. If you prefer, the ZIP next to the installer holds the same Ichor.vst3 to copy into the folder by hand.

Download the same installer and click Activate in Ichor, then paste the key from your email. Lost the email? Get your keys again.
